"Nice beach with pretty views. It's too cold to swim in May but walking the beach is nice and there are tons of seashells. There is a small food shop and gift shop as well. There are public restrooms located behind the gift shop. Dogs are allowed and we saw several playing fetch on the beach and swimming in the water. I hear that surfing is done here in the summer"
"Plenty of space for walking, biking, and a lovely restaurant and Murphy's ice cream on the way in. Bring a jacket as it can be very blustery. A must see beach in Kerry. As the saying goes... Where an inch is a mile."
"The beach is wonderful, beautiful sand , surrounded by awesome scenery. What disgusted me was the amount of cars parked on the beach. I can just imagine the pollution from all the cars everyday from the fumes directly on the sand and into the sea. This was not a pleasant sight for me. Without the cars it would be a five star."
"Stunning beach with long stretches of open white sandy beaches. A little RV and camp site located across the road with 2 restaurants to within 100m of the beach to cater for everyone's needs. Bnb accommodation along the route. Surfing school setup on the beach, perfect location for kite surfing. This beach is long enough for everyone to enjoy their chosen activity without being into of each other, it's a pure gem to discover. Dog and child friendly. Bring your picnic box, toilet Facilties on site with free day parking. The Cafe on the beach closes at 6pm for all food orders. Watch out for the last stop to fill up with petrol on your way down if you are running low on your way to Dingle. On the ring of Kerry, locate it and go explore."
