"I just stopped here for some lunch. We were on the way to somewhere else and needed something quick to eat. The quality of the food was superb. We were under time pressure too but the food came out really quickly. Quite a big dining area, so plenty of space between tables. Highly recommended."

"We booked the Celtic Ross Hotel for my mom’s 70th birthday celebrations and I couldn’t recommend the place more! It’s everything you’d hope an Irish hotel would be for tourists - lovely food, beautiful surroundings overlooking the sea and the staff could not have been more helpful. They knew how important the weekend was for my family and they went above and beyond at every turn. The function room is fantastic also - the perfect size for 30-40 people, intimate but roomy. They even let us use their projector to do a ‘This is your Life’ presentation for my mum. An incredibly special weekend enjoyed by all. Thank you to Maxine, Mags, Paul, Katie and all the Celtic Ross staff for their care."

"We had afternoon tea here and it was absolutely lovely. The tearoom overlooks the water, and the overstuffed seating is so comfy. The sandwiches and scones and desserts are all top notch, and the servers are super attentive. Highly recommended. We returned a week later to have lunch in the restaurant. I would not rate the atmosphere, service or food as highly as that which we had at the Afternoon Tea. The service was a bit lacking, no one checked back to ask if the meal was all right. The food was very good but not great. My husband really enjoyed his burger, and I enjoyed my chicken salad."

"We dealt with a lady called Emma and she was just wonderful, could not be more helpful. The rooms were spotless and there were 3 fresh little cakes and bottles of water left in the room. We got real soap which was hand made in Ireland. The bar staff and food were exceptional. we would recommend 100%"

"Living locally, I had never eaten here before, I thought the food would be the same as a lot of large hotels, mediocre. How wrong I was! The food blew me away! It was FABULOUS! Perfectly cooked, well presented and flavoursome. The pig cheeks were so tender with delicious coleslaw. The beef fell apart, the mash was incredible, the fennel carrots, yum. Banoffee pie, crispy thin pastry and tasty ice cream. The waiter was very attentive and professional. The waitress was so smiley. Even though there were two coach parties in, we sat by the window, isolated from them which was lovely. About 7 years ago I came here for lunch with a pal but we left as no-one had even given us a menu after 20 minutes. This was a totally different experience and we will definitely be back. Top class service and food."
