"Surfers site under new ownership & being developed. Ladies facilities good all other facilities need improvement, especially men's. Within metres of sandy beach. Great scenery."
"Just had a lovely weekend stay at this site. It’s all about the location here and being able to pop over the road to the beach was fab. Decent facilities, clean toilets/ showers/ kitchen facilities (didn’t use the men’s side!) and handy to have lots of drinkable water as well as a sink to wash up, hobs, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer. Thanks to Dolly for looking after everyone and being very welcoming on a busy weekend. We brought our dog, very dog friendly and everyone was well behaved with cleaning up, being on a lead etc. would definitely stay again."
"Location location location Great site - extremely helpful Owner - water tap at each grass pitch makes life easier - Ladies toilets were newly renovated and spotless - meet cleaner there several times over two night stay Campers kitchen seemed to have what you may need - only used toaster as I was self set in motor home - I thinks it well on the way to Becoming a super campsite - more works being planned and on the way I understand . Showers are €1 for two minutes but more like 2.5 -3 minutes. Loads of time as pressure and temp was spot on. Brand new LG washer and dryers if needed again reasonably priced."
"Very expensive for very little facilities - would absolutely not stop again. Over 30 euros a night, and you still have to pay for a shower!! Washing up taps only run for 3-4 seconds at a time, which is beyond frustrating. Pitch size is OK, but very little space to get in and out, turns incredibly tight. They ask you your van size, but don't take that into consideration when randomly pointing at a pitch. Right next to a very busy road, so traffic noise all night. Close to Inch beach which is lovely and stunning views but obviously very very busy .Overall it was over priced and we regretted staying. Much better to keep driving after an afternoon at the beach to one of hundreds of wild camp stops or better facilities towards dingle."
"Many things to say about this one. Price is very high for what it is. It capitalises on the location which is spectacular. We camped and the site was full of stones with little grass and turned to mud when it rained. The toilets were dark and cleaned infrequently. So much more could be done to make the place worthy of the beautiful surroundings but as it is it’s a bit of an eye sore. And the showers cost €0.50 per minute. I wouldn’t go back"
