"An absolute gem of a place. We have camped and also stayed in Angela's cottage. You feel welcome the moment you arrive. John, Mary, Angela and Farouk go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Angela's cottage is a converted stable, that has absolute charm of its own. It's like stepping back in time, we enjoyed every second staying there. It sleeps 8 people and is deceptively spacious. Everything is provided for, all you need is food and clothes. Loved it! Camping is great. The grounds are huge and tiered, so you can have a good look around for a site. The lower camping area does get very muddy when it rains heavily. The ablutions are well kept and the camping kitchen has all you will need. Could do with more ablutions in the busier times. There is a basic playground for the kids which they thoroughly enjoyed. The property is vast and there are lots of self guided walks. Absolutely fantastic spot! Can't wait to go back!"
"Super nice camping site, manager by an old lovely couple. The spot is spacious, with a great view. Super quiet, plenty of space for dogs which are allowed. Nice geared kitchen available, toilets and showers, plus a small playground for kids. One of the nicest campsites we've seen in Ireland."
"Probably one of the most scenic sites in Ireland. It is beautiful. An established site with plots on terraces for tents caravans and motor homes. Lower down into paddocks of green grass with ample room for all...The site is well maintained by the family whom run it and is clean and tidy, with everything catered for. Don't expect shops pubs or restaurants to be on the door step. There not, so bring your wine and beer and plenty of food if you like to stay on site. Congratulations to a wonderful family whom have dedicated their home and life for others to enjoy this beautiful country. Well done. X"
"Great place to stay. Owners were lovely to meet and have a chat. They cleaned the communal area twice a day. Plenty of bins and fresh drinking water points. Electric points available. Views are stunning. You are in the reeks, so you won't be disappointed."
"The campsite is situated in the mountains! Amazing views. Very nice camping pitch for our tent. Facilities are quite basic, but there was everything we needed, kitchen, fridges, toilets, shower and even fresh water tap at every pitch."
