"Lovely place great staff and lovely dive in to dingle to see aquarium"
"If you want to find a 5 star location by the sea for a fraction of the price this is the place to be. Its so fortunate to still have beautiful unspoiled sites like this to camp in. Yet it has all the necessary facilities, which are thoroughly looks after with care."
"Beautiful location but poor campsite. On arrival we were told we weren't in the book, we had booked and had a confirmation. Once that was sorted we began to pitch up our awning on the spot we had been sent to and were asked to move pitch. We ended up on a hill with a frequently used tap behind us despite the place we had started to pitch up remaining empty for the duration of our stay. The shop was closed as the season is classed as over in August. There are additional costs for a very quick cold shower and some man terrified me opening the locked shower door while I was in it despite my shoes being under the door and my belongings were in clear view. Beautiful views but I definitely wouldn't go back."
"Fab place to stay. Staff so friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much bother. The site is so clean and well appointed. All facilities spotless and well maintained. Beautiful beach nearby and a great spot to visit Dingle from. Loved it. Will definitely be back again!"
"Lovely site, located in a beautiful landscape, right on the beach, which is absolutely stunning, great for low wave surfing. Unfortunately the camping pitch is small, couldn't help but think it was an after thought addition and that we were pitched on the septic tank soakage area, as there are two large bio tanks next to it. No smells. There were several 12 man tents pitched, so space was limited and we had to navigate our way through peoples dining areas. Also easy to fall over tent ropes. Dogs are allowed, which I don't mind but we had to dodge poohs on the pitching area, also having my car wheels used as dog toilets was annoying. Car parking is limited. No power outlets for tents. Amenities are not close to pitch, showers are pricy, €2 for 4 mins, short in duration, not great, if you have very long hair and luke warm temperatures too, not sure the solar water heaters are up for the job!? No where to go to charge laptop/phones, no rec room. Only one outdoor sink for washing dishes(open-air, no cover) in bin/recycling bay, this is fine if it's dry, but only a cold tap, no hot water. This is useless for washing dishes, you'd expect a hot tap like on other modern sites, let alone a covered area. You have to get hot water from the toilet's hand sink, so bring a basin. Suggest this needs rethinking and changing. Perhaps install a sink in the roofed area at the side of the amenities building, where the there are benches for people to sit on, even though signs say no loitering. Overall it is a nice clean site, more suited to mobiles over tents. Safe for children and small dogs. Needs a bit of thinking for the users versus what they think users need, user testing/survey might be helpful! Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Happy to recommend. We absolutely loved the Natterjack Toads!"
