"Basic accommodations with a shared bathroom and kitchen, but clean and reasonably comfortable. My room was directly overlooking a noisy street where people seemed to be out partying all night every night (that's the fringe festival effect I suppose). It wasn't really a problem for me (I can sleep through anything), but would likely have bothered a light sleeper. Location was great, right in the middle of everything. The wifi was consistently good, easily enough for video chats."
"Clean, fresh bedding. A desk, chair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bed. All I needed to get my head down for the night. I was on the seventh corridor so it was a bit of a walk up the stairs but at this price, I'm not complaining!!"
"Clean room and central location are great. The noisy bar directly below was not. Certain rooms should come with discounts and warnings. Bargain accommodation, including full kitchen. Shower was not very functional."
"Visited over the weekend during the Fringe. Great location. Dropped bags off before check in, but be aware they are just left on the floor in a corner and not secured. Check in was ok but took a bit longer than expected. Main desk have towels and shower gel for rent which is useful. Rooms are basic, which is fine, but the bed and floorboards both make a lot of noise. Also, as there is a pub very nearby, it can be loud late at night. Cheap place to stay during the Fringe, but not without it's tradeoffs."
