"Stopped in for lunch on a whim, and ordered the fish and chips. It was honestly one of the best I've had in years. The fish was chunky and beautifully battered in light and crispy batter. Perfect proportion of chips, mushy peas and sauces. Only downside is it was so good, I'll feel bad ordering anything else when I come back. Delightful!"
"Had a great stay, and although my room was a bit tired, the welcome was warm and the food was excellent. The room was clean and tidy, great towels and quality bed linen. Also very quiet in the rooms, as they are away from the pub part of the building. Thanks for a very enjoyable visit"
