"The hotel is in a beautiful waterfront location with plenty of parking We had a family room, which was the biggest of any which we have stayed in at a Premier Inn. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the Brewers Fayre pub next door provided an excellent breakfast. There is an Asda nearby and good bus connections - there is a tram extension being built, which will make it even easier to get into the city centre in the future. I'd definitely recommend this hotel."
"Good location for Leith or Newhaven and a short walk to a bus stop for the city and airport. When the trams are fully operational, it will also be a short walk to a tram stop. If you don't wish to have breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel, there are a couple of other options within walking distance. Our room was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. If you're lucky you will get a room with a view over the Forth and not David Lloyd's as we did. The cost was much cheaper than it would have been in other Premier Inn's in the Edinburgh area."
"A welcome return to one of our favourite Premier inns. Located on the Harbour at Newhaven it is quiet but also have easy access to Edinburgh City centre. Room normal Premier Inn standard, could really do with a good clean in the bathrooms, a bit of effort to remove the stale urine smell wouldn't go amiss. However that apart, clean tidy and everything you need. Staff very helpful and pleasant, unfortunately i feel some other guests didn't feel the same about the receptionist, moaning that he wasn't there again( he was actually sorting something for me at the time so couldn't be on demand to the guy pushing in). Some people eh. All in all a clean reasonable price hotel near the city. Little tip. If catching the bus the number 10 goes right opposite the car park, fare is exact cash only or contactless card, (*October 2022 prices*single was (£1.80 adult) but cheaper and easier to buy Day ticket (£4.50 ) which is unlimited travel on any city centre bus up until midnight) There are other buses which run on the main road . Near enough a bus every 8 minutes."
"Lovely place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you. Ideal location for exploring the area. The only downside is that for breakfast you can use the Brewers Fayre next door. I would avoid at all costs. Overpriced and a complete shambles. Unable to cope with the amount of customers that dined there. Waiting for over 15 minutes for hot food on the self service buffet. Staff look completely fed up and could burst into tears at any moment."
"I know most Premier Inns are very similar but this particular hotel I found to be extra pleasant. It has beautiful scenery which you can actually see from your room window. I found the rooms to be very spacious and clean and felt really cozy and at home here. I really recommend this Premier Inn. Shame we couldn’t stay longer as we were only passing through the area."
