"Lovely hotel in a nice area. Room is nice but slightly tired. Shower is fine but difficult to get in and out if you have mobility issues. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is adequate hot dishes need to be kept warmer."

"Great location with a very welcoming and helpful/accommodating staff. Small rooms, but when you're away most of the time, it doesn't matter as much...as long as things are clean and tidy. Bathroom was super small too. The location is convenient. This hotel is close to everything."

"I've given this hotel 2 stars for location and the friendliness of staff. The room was clean and beds comfy. We were chilling before heading out for the evening but couldn't get the TV to work. Not sure if it was the remote needing a new battery. The TV wasn't the end of the world though. The worst part of the stay was the room temperature. This was set to be 21 degrees. If it dropped below, warm air would blow and if it went above cool air. Sleeping in 21 degree heat is no joke and extremely uncomfortable! I tried switching the air flow off but this didn't help much. There was a notice to call down to reception with any difficulties but there was no phone in the room!? I didn't really want to go downstairs in my pj's at 3am! Finally our room was situated at the rear of the hotel - the noise coming from outside in the morning wasn't great. We weren't really sure if it was staff outside or members of the public. Having the window open wouldn't have helped. I won't stay here again which is a shame as the location is great. Shame there is no car park as well."

"Positives are friendly and helpful reception staff, great location, and clean enough. However would not stay here again as the room was ridiculously hot and no way to regulate the temperature - made for a terrible night's sleep and was almost unbearable to be in the room for any period of time at all during our stay. Room overlooked an internal covered area - no problems with the lack of view as everything is on your doorstep when you step outside, but in the early morning staff shouting / talking with each other echoed and was really noisy/disturbing and woke us up early after a terrible sleep due to the hot and stuffy room (meant we had to leave window open). Notice on wall said to call '0' for 24 hour assistance from reception but no telephone in the room. TV kept switching itself off and only one channel. Although we weren't in the room much overall it was really disappointing."
