"Lovely little hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, good central location to town (about 23 minutes on the 26 bus which stops outside). Perfect for exploring Edinburgh. No frills Hotel but is warm, cosy, tv in room, lovely shower. All in all, it was a nice, not too expensive way of seeing Edinburgh."

"It would be great to be able to get to your room without needing to cross the pub with baggage and have another option of breakfast, as full Scottish breakfast was the only option available. Including hot chocolate on breakfast would be great. With the disable shower all the toilet ended up full of water. The rest was absolutely fine. We would have appreciated to be help to our rooms, as we only were given the keys. Even though I did the booking of both rooms under my name they couldn't find the 2nd room as it was under the name of a guest."
"For the money this is not a bad place. It is basic so don't expect 5 star quality, bit for just 1 night it is perfectly fine. The restaurant serves great food and at very good prices. However be aware that the kitchen closes at 9pm which is quite early. Breakfast is buffet style and they have a good selection to cater for all tastes. Overall this not a bad place to stay and I would recommend it."
