"Where do I begin? First impression - Upon my arrival the environment and energy of this establishment set the tone for my stay in Edinburgh. The staff is top notch! Better than some five star hotels I’ve stayed in. You can tell they love their jobs and this comes from within the organization. Facility - the lobby and guess gathering area was immaculate, modern and bright. Great vibe! Room - I reserved a studio. The design is so clever and efficient. The kitchenette has a substantial size refrigerator. The microwave, hot air combo appliance was brilliant. The cabinets are stocked with everything you need from dishes and utensils good quality for your stay sh . Large bathroom stocked with grooming products with a heated floor what else can you ask for? Location - I walked an average of 7 miles a day around Edinburgh. I can tell you this is the best location. Edinburgh is full of hills and this location gives you a nice balance. My. It’s not a traditional hotel where you have daily maid service. However, they are so accommodating that you don’t even miss it. Requesting fresh linens or towels is never an issue. I am absolutely sure if you need your room freshened up they will accommodate that as well. My stay was 10 days and when I checked out, I was absolutely sad. I gained real affection for the entire staff, Laura and Luna, and all the other wonderful women and men I experience during my stay. I want to thank Eden lock Edinburgh for adding such a joy to my stay. Please don’t change anything with a phenomenal group of people. I miss them all☺️"

"Beautiful hotel, very well appointed rooms and very spacious. Would highly recommend if you were staying for an extended period. I stayed on the fourth floor and it seemed quite warm in the room but there are multiple opening windows to counteract. The best wasn’t the most comfortable as it was quite firm but I figure this is up to preference. Staff are excellent!"

"I booked a two night stay as part of a 1 week road trip around Scotland. Edinburgh was the last stop at the end of the week. I love Edinburgh, visited countless times but this was the first time I've stayed at Eden Locke. The location is excellent, there is no parking but there is plenty to choose from around the city. It was such a nice surprise how nice this place is! You can tell a lot of thought has been put into thinking what people would need. There wasn't anything I could have wanted during the two night stay. I'll definitely be back, the best I've stayed in while visiting Edinburgh. Well done guys!"

"Amazing location, sweet lovely staff, cute aesthetic in the rooms and lobby. We loved how it was more apartment like with all the features you would need in a visit. Everything was new clean and cute. One note though, the room was a bit dark even with all the lights on. It didn’t distract from the great experience of staying there but it would’ve been nice to have more lighting around the studio."

"Good location, easy to walk everywhere, clean, quiet. The room layout was weird... you could only see the TV in the kitchen area/small sofa but not from bed. Lots of steps in a small area as well. Overall, the staff were excellent and helpful. But this hotel seems to value their "trendy" vibe over substance and would probably stay somewhere else next time."
