"Great hotel, central to everything. Staff very helpful, especially Michelle - if booking anything in Edinburgh ask staff first as they might be able to get you a discount - rooms very clean and comfy. Breakfast lovely. They can also store your luggage for you if you are checking out but need a couple of extra hours sightseeing. Also sometimes it may be possible to pay £10 for an earlier check if available. Will definitely return."
"Staff were very helpful and accommodating when my wife suffered an allergic reaction from something in our room. They quickly moved us to another room and checked up on us periodically. Thankfully she had no issues in the new room, perhaps caused by something left by a previous guest as we regularly stay at Premier Inns and have never had this issue before!"
"If you are a tourist visiting Edinburgh, this is THE hotel you need to consider staying in. The location is perfect - City Center. So many options just a few steps away in terms of where to grab a bite or have a pint or even fine-dine. And the best part - you can just walk around and see most of Edinburgh, hence saving on commute money. The main railway station (Waverly Station)is also very close by. The hotel staff were courteous and welcoming. And the quality of their breakfast was really nice."
"Located conveniently close to Waverly train station, this hotel makes a great base for a trip to see the city. Rooms are clean and pretty sizeable for the price and location. Comes with a desk and a couch with the space to accommodate them. Check in and check out are quick and convenient. Quiet place to rest for the night after a day out."
"Very pleasant. We came at the beginning of Fringe Festival so the entire town was crowded and busy. And yet we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get our rooms by 12 noon. Room was spacious and clean. Nothing fancy but bed was very comfortable and there was a window facing an inner courtyard so lots of natural light. Breakfast was very good and despite warnings of crowds, was handled very well. Only reason I can’t give a 5 out of 5? There was no water, for about 8 hours! When it finally came on, it was cold for a good 2 hours before things were finally settled. I wish they’d give a voucher or something at least for the ruckus that created."
