"I paid the owner, a man called John, £450 for accommodation for a stag do that we had to cancel due to coronavirus restrictions and he has refused to give a refund. I have had to take the matter to dispute through my bank. Avoid at all costs. The people running this outfit are not fit to run a business and are devoid of any moral compass."

"Appalling! Should be closed down! Half an hour waiting to be let in,down the end of a tacky draughty corridor I was shown my room....dump! Freezing cold,window above the bed was jammed open and would not shut,noone in the place to help,isn't that illegal in case of fire?? The heater a tiny electric thing and the wiring looked dodgy so didn't plug it in. Had one thin blanket on the bed in January,spent a cold sleepless night wrapped in my dressing gown.ive already put in a report about this place but really think people should be warned!! Do NOT go there!"

"I spent three nights in this hotel, the review of mine depends on several other factors: Pros: + The location of the hotel is in walking distance from the main street and the castle, easily accessible. + They serve breakfast, even if I did not tried it. Fruits, corn flakes, cereals and other stuff are on the table from 8 untill 10 am. + Helpful staff Cons: - There were no heating NOR hot water in the whole building, so I wasn't able to have a shower in my ensuite room what I have especially paid for. And they only let me know when I was there at the evening, so it was quite a huge disappointment. Pros (again): + For this problem, they provided me a mobile heater and also, I had to walk onto an another building to have a shower (it was close, 1 minute walk)."

"It's ok, its basic but it's cheap. It's clean and a bit rough around the edges but it's a warm room and comfy beds. We would use it again. The staff are very friendly and helpful too as there was an issue with the first room we had and they moved us to another room with no hassle. We would recommend it if you are in need of a basic and cheap room."

"-Dirty Rooms -Only Cold or Boiled water for shower, you can’t even make it moderate. -No heating, the radiators are there only for design. -The room was in a bad condition when we arrived. Stay away from this place, even if the staff is friendly."
