"Quite a large, vintage style room, clean. Bathroom was also fine. Free coffee and snacks in the morning. Having said that, the space outside smelled damp and musty. Would consider booking again due to the excellent location and decent price, provided care is taken to maintain it well."
"Had a lovely stay here. Cheap and cheerful. Ended up being on the top floor which was a bit of a climb but it was clean and the staff were lovely. Loved the tartan carpet. Central to Edinburgh city centre and all the sites. A bonus was they let us leave our luggage there as we arrived early before check in and also after checking out so we were able to go around Edinburgh without carrying around our luggage."
"Conveniently located a couple of minutes from Haymarket station, and a reasonable walk into the centre of Edinburgh via Princes Street. The hotel itself is mediocre. The decor is a little garish. The twin room should be renamed the Goldilocks suite, with one soft bed and one hard one. It's alright for a short stay, where most of your time will be spent elsewhere, but it's not the most restful place. Parking in the area is an issue. A little disappointed this was very prominently featured on Booking.com"
