"The hotel was beautiful and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, with an amazing view of the castle. Highlight of the hotel was how incredibly comfortable the bed was, and the blackout blinds giving us near complete darkness any time of day, best sleep I’ve had in ages. Special thanks to Oliwia for giving us some great recommendations for night life in our arrival. We really appreciated the special touches, the hotel staff took a flower delivery for me before our arrival and placed it in our room for us, and the availability of umbrellas in the room and the hotel lobby was much appreciated. 10/10 would stay again."

"Beautiful hotel. Rooms are good size, bright, clean and very well equipped. Hotel staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We opted for breakfast and thought it was brilliant. There are lots of cafes and shops within 2-4 min walk away and coffee machine and kettle in room if you don't want breakfast. Location is absolutely ideal for old city, castle and for bars and restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Just the best place we've stayed in Edinburgh so far. Perfect location, no more than 10 minutes from everything. The apartment was immaculate, stylish and well equipped. "We loved our stay here! The location couldn't have been more perfect, close to restaurants, the royal mile and Edinburgh castle. I liked the mini kitchenette with modern appliances. We really appreciated the guest laundry facility and the room was well appointed and comfortable with modern features. Will recommend and will return!"

"This location overall is wonderful! The staff has been very helpful with any questions or needs. The building provides everything you would need during your stay. We had our own kitchen to use, though I feel the pantry in the lobby is a bit lacking. However there is a grocery store just around the corner if you can't find what you want. Our only issue with our stay is the other guests. If you value your sleep, this is a difficult place to stay. The walls are fairly thin and we can hear slamming doors, other guests stomping around in their rooms and through the halls. We could hear televisions from the other rooms, the dragging of chairs and tables, as well as people outside yelling as they return to wherever they are staying from the local night life. This went on every day and night at all hours. So overall the staff and facility deserve a 5 star, but the lack of sleep during the stay does not."
