"Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a clean hotel - I used to be a housekeeper and was very impressed! The staff were super helpful and efficient and there was always someone on hand to help. We had breakfast on the last morning which was lovely and had a lot of options. We were on the fifth floor and had a lovely view from our room - air con/heater worked well and we could also open the window slightly which was great. The bed was comfy and huge - my boyfriend is 6’4 so this was a big plus! Everything we wanted to do/see was maximum a 35/40 min walk away which was perfect for us and meant we didn’t need to use any public transport! Would deffo stay here again :)"

"The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, through the hotel, from the front desk to the catering staff. The location is excellent for the Conference centre and shops. The breakfast has lots of options well presented. Laura (serving staff) looked after us every morning and she is the friendliest, most smily and pleasant young lady I have ever met in this environment. The decor is lovely and the room was well presented and a comfortable bed. The shower was amazing. I will definitely use again if in Edinburgh!"

"Beds rooms stunning. Breakfast is excellent. Really really disappointed in the service from the bar in the evening. Wait 20 minutes to be serviced. Behind the bar was shocking. Glasses everywhere only 2 bar staff on. Not blaming the staff spoke with one of the bar staff told us only allowed 2 staff members on had to depend on reception for support. When one of the staff came from reception to help out no major rush to make sure bar area or tables around where clean. From what I understand is lack of support from management for staff. Number one priority should be the bar staff need more support. Don’t put this review put you off stunning hotel"

"Fantastic shower with good pressure, mostly friendly staff especially the girls at breakfast and the cleaning lady, breakfast is very good but during busy hours a bit chaotic, wifi is good for surfing but if you upload huge photo files it's catastrophic. Location is great. Rooms are very good, bed is comfy, pillows are good. Recommended."

"Excellent breakfast especially the scrambled egg. It's amazing how many hotels don't understand how to do it. Good and friendly service. Nice reception/lounge area. And very comfortable beds. Air conditioning just right."
