Reviews
"In response to review saying bar and kitchen closes at 9pm. RUBBISH ! They close at 11. The bar closes at midnight Friday and Saturdays. The place is spotless. Certain individuals do overcrowd the kitchen. But that is dealt with quickly. The staff are super friendly and easy to talk to. There is a full range of cutlery and crockery. All in all, the West End Hotel is well worth it."
"I picked a mixed room with 6 bunk beds. I arrived quite late and it was very cramped. I had a middle bed left but very not practical to get into the bed when everyone is sleeping. Unfortunately the people that I slept with in the same room were not very hygienic... But that's what you get for a 27£ shared room. It's convenient as it's in the city if you want to go out. But If you like your personal comfort please forget it. It's a hostel. PS: Bed is comfortable just remember to bring earplug."
"Very welcoming and staff and service were outstanding. Food in the bar was also one of the best I've had in a hostel. For the price couldn't really ask for any more!"
"Fairly clean and well-maintained hostel. A bit off the path, which makes for a quieter stay despite having to walk a bit to get to, but still convenient to the tram, train and buses. One downside is the bar and community kitchen both close around 9 and don't open again until the morning - don't know if that's a staffing issue or what, so plan accordingly. Overall, one of the best hostel stays I've ever had."
