"I always enjoy Premier Inn and this one didn't disappoint. Friendly staff on reception an immaculate room and the luxury of a bath to soak in. I think the only thing I'd change is to have a plug for a phone charger at the bed head but that's being picky. Free car park was good. I'll visit again next time I have business in York."
"Went here for Xmas dinner and it was lovely , all the food was really nice and atmosphere was good too. Now you have to remember that the staff have given up their Xmas day to serve everyone that day. So thank you. But the service was slow, though it didn't bother me as I was out for dinner anyway and was enjoying the chat with family members and others on different tables. I would go again no problem."
"We have used this Premier Inn on several occasions. My wife and I recently spent two nights there . The room was very clean ,the bed very comfortable , bathroom and shower relatively new.. The ceiling(floors) do need insulating against noise. We thought there was a herd of eliphants walking around above us."
"The rooms and corridors were dated. Lift was not working. Breakfast was poor, hot food was not freshly cooked. It was stored in water baths in a hostess like trolly and mushrooms, hash browns and tomatoes were cold. Best option is to order poached eggs as they do those fresh"
"Exactly what you expect. Warm, clean, well-appointed rooms. Great service from reception and had a good chat with the night manager when I went for a last vape. Had a quiet night and refreshing shower in the morning. Located about 10 minutes drive from town with plenty free parking, no good if you want to party but ideal as a base for the marathon."
