"The staff were so lovely really makes a difference when they make you feel welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The leisure facilities were great loved the pool and steam room."
"Friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The bed was really comfortable and had no problems sleeping. The room was large and had all the items you need like a tv, kettle, ironing board etc. The rooms are slightly dated but at the same time fell fresh and airy, I would stay here again. My only one small complaint is why are there no plug sockets next to the bed, like must people I need to charge my phone and watch up and like them next to the bed, not a massive problem any means but something I personally like when staying in hotels. Also no usb sockets. 10-15 minute gentle walk in to the town centre. Would I stay here again, more than likely as long have no complaints and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the waitress was lovely this morning, nothing was to much trouble. Limited parking available and train station not to far away. They do not do evening meals but are happy for takeaway to be brought back to your room."
"A good value clean and tidy hotel. It is located in a quiet location in easy walking distance to the centre. The 10 metre swimming pool is decent as are the changing rooms. I would definitely stay here again."
"Nice hotel for a weekend trip to York. Rooms are okay, clean and comfortable although a little noisy but we only used it for sleeping in. Bus stop across the road or a short 15 minute walk into York centre. Staff are very welcoming and helpful."
