"This was definitely a room with an amazing view. You couldn't see anything unless you were tall like my husband and I. The staff was great! She was so happy to recommend what to see and do. She made us feel so special! My only complaint was that the room was kind of stuffy, we turned on the provided fan and it was dusty. I was constantly sneezing and you could only open the window a couple inches."
"Nice central location. Rooms are reasonably comfortable and are a good size. There's a lack of usable surfaces or space to put clothes away in the room. Plus the entrance to the hotel is down a side street that I would not usually walk through on my own or at night."
"Clean fresh room. Very pleasant staff. King size comfy bed ad pillows. A little street noise but to be expected on princes street. Fantastic location for everything the city has to offer. No facilities for breakfast but so many places offering breakfast close by so no issue"
"Booked with this Travelodge as a cheap weekend getaway and was more than impressed. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about local attractions and places to eat/drink. Room was very clean, and the other lodgers rather quiet (although it was not peak tourism season anyway). Placed on the second floor, with a view of Waverly station. We were also able to check in a bag 6hours before check in, and leave luggage with them after checkout which made train travel via Waverly station a breeze. All in all I would recommend if you are looking for a bare essentials, cheap place to stay - one that is clean and in a fantastic central location."
"Location was hard to find as down an alleyway just behind princess Street. Room we stayed in had a great view of the castle and great shower. Everything was good as was a central location and the room was big and the view however window did not lock properly and let in quite a draft to the room. Luckily this kept the room nice and comfortable."
