Reviews
"Beautiful ruins by the river. A bit off the beaten track, which means no crowds. You can park at the cemetary and take a little stroll along the river. The area around the abbey has been fenced in to stop people from trampling through the meadow and bushes. Enjoy the very short walk and rhe tranquility this spot offers. Just you and some cows or sheep."
"The grounds around the Abbey ruins are well maintained making it very easy to to visit. Beautiful location."
"Beautiful abbey ruins on the water. Easy to access. Very little parking but no one goes here so that’s not really a problem - park by cemetery and follow the well marked path through the turnstile gate."
"The location is quite remote and the roads are thin but it's definitely worth the drive down, it's a fantastic building and great to explore"
"Lovely Tranquil spot but Mayo CoCo should improve the access walkway around by the shore line."
