"What a gorgeous hotel, had some bar food here last Saturday it was so tasty, it's beautifully decorated staff are so lovely. I'll definitely be back."
"We were staying on Achill but this was perfect to pop out to for a bite to eat after swimming in the pool or using the leisure/fitness centre. Pool and dressing rooms were very clean, well maintained and managed. Staff very attentive, calm, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. It made us come back a number of times in the week. Changing rooms very clean and we'll equipped. I would suggest a drier for swimsuits which I found helpful in other pools around the country but it is a minor detail. Changing areas are spacious and nice and toasty. You could nearly dry off just standing in the changing area as it is lovely and warm. Perfect for children too. I would also suggest more than one toilet and for it to be cleaned a little more regularly as you don't know whether you are standing in pool water or wee... #justsaying... The hotel itself is very nice, cosy and inviting. The restaurant told us they couldn't accommodate us but then changed their minds and gave us a table that said reserved in a corner. For the full hour or so we were there... Only one of the many reserved tables were used. The menus were fine. Standard choices (I actually think it is the same menu each time I've been here over the years) and reasonably priced. I would recommend looking at the allergens key for the menus (eggs seems to be noted on the pizza etc but are you sure?) and making sure you have allergens stated on specials would be useful. No one came back to ask us (two adults and three children) if we wanted dessert. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. Our food came out and it wasn't hot... Just about warmed. The veg was cold but it was all tasty, so a pity. We couldn't catch the attention of staff so since no one was interested in offering us dessert or paying attention, my wife got up, walked over to the till and waited for someone to come...paid...and we left. I'd still go back, especially to the leisure centre and pool."
"Purchased a family pass for the pool this week, €30 for 2A & 2C. Clean & comfortable dressing area, lockers provided, hairdryers available. Showers were too hot on the day we visited but other than that, a pleasant experience during a rainy day, enjoyed in the pool which is clean and safe. Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were enjoyed by adults."
"What a fabulous hotel....gorgeous staff.. feels like going home every time! Beautiful bedrooms, comfort guaranteed... a real oasis of calm. Fabulous breakfast too. Highly recommended!"
"Great wedding new years eve 2022. Great venue. Staff brilliant. What a view from the John Lennon suite. We were spoilt. And not a drop of rain in Mayo in December."
