"We have just returned from an amazing experience at Clifden Eco Beach camping. The beach is breath taking. The people are friendly but give you your privacy. The facilities they provide are spotless. I've never been or seen a camping spot on a beach like it before. It is in the most beautiful part of the country. We felt safe and secure there with access to the camp only through the coded barrier. I would recommend this spot without a doubt. A big thank you to Mark who provides an amazing a seeweed hot tub experience on that white sanded beach. This is something you have to do while you're there among the million other things Connemara has to offer. This place is special and a credit to Kris and Tatjana. Have a great season guys. "I had a brilliant experience on this campsite as everything you could be looking for on a vacation where you want to be in touch with nature is provided. When you step out of you’re camper-van or tent you’re instantly greeted with green landscapes and a sandy beach with a beautiful ocean view. The campsite is secured by a barrier which means no person may come in unidentified which will ease the minds of parents who have young kids on the campsite. I greatly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back again and will recommend to friends."
"Was heading off on our first trip in our new camper and got a recommendation for Clifden Eco beach, and boy are we glad we listened. Quite a spin from Dublin, but as we turned into this oasis, it was all worth while. Proper Wild Atlantic Way experience, with beautiful views from almost every pitch. Facilities were spotlessly clean and the entire place felt safe. Genuinely nice people running a fantastic campsite that they should be very proud of.. We will definitely be back ."
"Fantastic campsite! We stayed one night in December 2022. Although the campsite was officially closed for the season, the owner allowed us to stay. Beautiful views and pitches right next to the beach. Good facilities and all services available."
"I spent 3 nights here and it was great. The sanitary facilities were good and above all clean. The owners were incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. And the location of the site was priceless, you had direct access to a beautiful private beach and in most cases you could look out to sea directly from your pitch. There was also good drinking water, which is exceptional for Ireland as this is usually chlorinated. It was a very successful stay, I am sure I will come back."
