"Beautiful scenic drive to get to omey Island with fantastic views from the island, be aware there is no camping on the island allowed and care must be taken when driving onto the island across the sand as the tide rushes in very quick, ask the local shop keeper regarding tide times if uncertain about crossing."

"Beautiful island with a lake on it very mystical place to visit. You can drive, walk or cycle over to the island. Lovely white sandy beaches clear blue water for swimming. Takes just over 2 hours to walk the island. Go visit the old grave yard or the church ruins. Beautiful sunsets to look at in the evenings."
