"Recently my lovely cat Kimchi had a bowel obstruction and required emergency surgery. I was so worried but I was kept updated every step of the way and he was looked after so well! We are still returning for his check ups and they are so good answering my calls on any additional worries I have. They also help out a lot with insurance forms so that's took lots of stress off as I don't have to worry about the cost to save my furbaby. Will definitely be trusting them again with the care of my pets. Thanks to Vet Miguel and all the other vets, nurses and receptionist there for taking such good care of Kimchi!"
"My dog had a dental procedure to remove plaque and tartar and everything went very well. No teeth were removed and due to that the bill was under the estimated amount discussed. We are very happy with the service and people who attended our dog so well."
"I’ve used this vet many times and particularly in the last few months have been very let down. During an annual check-up, I had to advocate for checks for hyperthyroidism despite having told them of the clear warning signs (and results came back to show it was indeed hyperthyroidism, and at high levels). If I hadn’t known and pushed for it, then what? Then I was to monitor for weight changes to help determine correct dosage but the weight from that visit had not been recorded (??) so they just tried to compare to an older, much higher weight! Visits are rushed with almost no time to share information with the vet or ask questions. Invoices aren’t sent. (I asked for one and they gave me a history but still no invoice). Bills aren’t explained or discussed in advance. Basic questions aren’t covered in visits, such as what to do when a one-time prescription runs out but my cat is still sick. Did they mean for it to be refilled…? Have to call and ask, even after just having been in to see them for almost a 200eur visit. I’ve had to consistently chase the vet and worry that I’ll have to catch things they didn’t. Possibly they’re just too busy, and as a positive they are at least very friendly! and it’s easy to get an appointment, but it definitely hasn’t translated to a trustworthy service and I’m left with a chronically sick cat."
"I wouldn't bring my pet here. I live with a family and they bring their dog here. I use a different vet for my cats. The difference on the few occasions when I have brought the dog to the vet is absolutely astounding. My experience with Village Vets has been that they charge you insane amounts of money, often for made-up sounding extra fees on top of expensive treatments, while the animal in question still receives substandard care. There is no doubt in my mind that they care more about your money than the health of your pet."
"I've had a few bad experiences at this practice with my Staffy. The staff just are not able to handle a large fearful dog at all. Very disappointing service. I've now moved vets and they were shocked at how badly the Village Vets had handled our dog's case. They're a chain vet with no real care or consideration for the animals they treat. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Only giving two stars because of location and the occasional nice vet I had dealings with."
