"Shockingly rude staff. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We asked the woman who answers the phone, Mina, if we could pay for a better room since the one we got was dissappointingly small with an even tinier bathroom, but she was very dismissive and rude and unwilling to hear the issue out. Breakfast isn't actually included. You have to pay 5 euros and the description basically said "bread, cereal and tea". The room we got looks nothing like the pictures, it's way smaller, the window faces a tool shed looking wall. We suspect they don't have a reception (not even to check the ID's) because they have had plenty complains, and not being there is a good way not to deal with customers."

"No parking. No reception. Front door open with dirty hand marks. Very unclean, smelled damp,stale, smokey. Group of middle aged men congregated in a downstairs room and another coming down the stairs with what looked like dirty laundry. Very unpleasant and needed to exit immediately. 7pm,Three people in late seventies were lucky to find 1 bed room to share at the Royal Marine. Spoke to booking .com and the owner who put the phone down on us and said we had no proof. Loyal supporter of Booking .com for many years ,Genius level 3. Seems to count for nothing. Joan Ivens."

"first of all I was met by a lovely duo who were incredibly friendly. they were diligent and hardworking. the room had an incredible view of the car park. the welcome written in the concrete really made me feel at home. the ambient noise of the shower helped me wake up. I made a lovely meal in the mulgrave. I made a lovely salmon dish using the state of the art antique microwave. the paint on my wall was very unique very impressive.the damp odor really complimented the antique decor. I got a great workout when attempting to open the door. I loved the fabulous toilets and looked forward to brushing my teeth there.my acrobatic skills were enhanced throughout my stay due to many different factors. I've been coming since 2006 and can't wait to return. I'll be coming back to mug very soon."

"Please read this review, I booked this accommodation 31/03/22 for 5 nights for myself and my partner it was described as a lovely place to stay by the sea with nice pictures of the rooms we arrived at the Mullgrave Lodge there was no one there one of the tenants let us in and gave me a number to call we were given a combination for a key box with our room key there were bucket catching water from leaks in the ceiling the bed was made from scrap wood and the door to the room was not secure properly and it had mold in the room. The lodge looks nice from the outside but is a dump in side my partner And I were not happy called the number but got no answer we booked this accommodation through Booking.com who will not help you will never use booking.com again. The owners of this accomodation blocked my calls and cancelled our booking on booking.com so we couldn't leave a bad review."
