"I went up this evening to Curry’s in Carrickmines, absolutely disgusting the way the staff treat their customers. I was standing around waiting for a staff member to help with my query and I stopped three different staff members and they were so rude. I was with my son who has autism and they with signs up saying that they are autism friendly.. nothing friendly about having a customer wait for 15 minutes. Even if you don’t have a disability is disgraceful. Then I asked for a manager and he wasn’t any better. And instead of helping us out, his response was I will get someone to come to you. After another 5 minutes of waiting myself and my son just left. I know when I was leaving there was another customer feeling exactly like me, waiting for a staff member to assist her.. and when she heard me commenting on how rude the staff are she agreed with me. I would give no stars if I could."
"Absolutely nothing in stock. If you hope to speak to a member of staff, you might as well bring a punt gun, as you'd have an easier time getting hold of a wild goose than a sales rep on the floor. No point in having a physical store if anytime you're looking for something you're told to go on the website and order it there as they don't have stock."
"I've been standing in the queue for 45 mins at this point to collect an order that should have been delivered to my house but was delivered to the store instead. One incredibly stressed out person at the desk. Two people standing at the door offering coffee to customers. Queues all around the shop. It's like they're actively trying to irritate people. Just buy online from Amazon. Update - girl behind the desk has disappeared. There are several utterly disinterested people flapping about behind the counter, none of whom appear to have the remotest inclination to actually help the increasingly long line of customers who are here to actually pay for things. It's worth a visit simply to observe the chaos."
"I would advise if you can buy the item you want anywhere other than Curry's, that's what you should do. Ordered and paid for a Kindle in store. 10 days later I have not received the item I ordered.I called the number on my received and after having to make multiple choices I got speaking to a human. Was asked the receipt number, the date, the store code, my name, my address - giving the first line of my address wasn't enough, they wanted the post code - "company policy". Just ridiculous. All I wanted to know was when my paid-for item would be available for me to collect. So the customer representative, who I appreciate doesn't decide policy, tried calling the store (the phone number on the receipt is not for the local Currys branch) but no one answered. Rep on phone now has to send an email to the store, asking them to call me with an update. In the meantime I received an email asking me to rate my experience. I went through question after question after question, a totally unreasonable number of them. Its all about Curry's, not about the customer. I can't remember when I last experienced such poor customer service and do not intend to ever use Curries again, they couldn't care less about their customers."
