Reviews
"Generally lovely staff, apart from the store manager, and another man with an English accent. Rode, aggressive, abusive, sharp and very unhelpful."
"Pre ordered a item. I tried to bring my electric scooter in store (never ever had a issue anywhere!) Was immediately told I can't bring it in so I had to leave it outside unattended (no lock for it)while I deal with this petty seriously petty guy called Mark.! I ran outside while he retrieved my item and nowhere does it say scooters are not permitted, i also checked Argus too and again no signs saying no scooters allowed. EVEN A SECURITY GUARD told me he doesn't know what I am talking about. I did tell this guy mark how petty i think he was being while never raising my voice or swearing. When I got my itel i sarcastically sais I'm going to write a great review.i must add mark remained fully professional unlike this little brown haired girl with glasses who began to swear at me I swore back still not raising my voice, she had the audacity to say I shouldn't swear back at her because she is a lady ha this woman is far far from a lady so screw that double standard.!!! In conclusion I now out of pettyness and shock at how unprofessional this woman was took pictures of all entrances to the ilac nowhere does it say no scooters allowed and she certainly won't be getting away with how she spoke to me. Next i will be Emailing HR and see what they say.ill never ever return to this store nor will any of my family members or friends. Incredible a director Mr Burke has already emailed me back fantastic at least some at Argos take customer service seriously. Most comments and reviews are complaining about poor customer service shocked lol not."
"Big thanks today to the young guy who helped me today. I bought a dumbell and barebell set and underestimated how heavy it would be. He offered to help carry it out to the street where I could get a taxi to bring it home. Didn't get his name unfortunately but he was great help to me today and don't know how I would have managed without him."
"Horrible Customer Service and product – Bush Stick to Handheld Bagless Vacuum Cleaner I had the same vacuum for over 2 years and it was great, then I decided to get a new one and what a deception, in one month it presented defect. The wheels are missing. I live in one bed apartment with an laminated floor and no carpet, there is absolutely no reason for this. With no wheels it is so hard to use the vacuum. The customer service insists this is a non-manufacturing fault and that I need to pay for a whole piece that costs over €20. This is just a advise if you are thinking to get one. This does not have the same quality as the ones from a few years ago."
"For some reason they don’t take contactless payments and also required me to bring ID to buy a knife block, so had to return the following day. Fast to get the products after payment though."
