"Nestled safely among the forestry is the sister well of Churchwell in Tipperary Town, both established in 1833 by Stafford O'Brien to ensure residents and locals of the Town and Glen had a supply of clean water. Anyone going to visit be warned....good hiking shoes are advised as there are sections of the pathway that are muddy with streams crossing the path. Located close to the Bianconi route, Rock an Thorabh and the Mass Rock which is across the road from there. Aherlow house hotel and Ballyglass Hotel are only minutes away and both have wonderful views and histories and are great stops for refreshments....highly recommend a visit....spectacular place in the Glen of Aherlow."
