"We stayed in the airbnb for two nights and enjoyed the Sanctuary walks and animals. Mary and Roy are very friendly and welcoming. We had an amazing time there, walking with Flora the pig and enjoying the company of the goats, horses and donkeys. This was our second time there all the way from London and we'll definitely be back!!"
"What a beautiful place, uniquely unspoiled!! We had an amazing walk with the very informative Mary and her lovely pig Flora! Very fun whilst learning a lot about the unique Burren environment. Clear that Mary is so passionate and it's contagious!! Highly recommend a visit!"
"We had a lovely visit. The animals are well cared for and the property is unique and fun to explore. We arranged for the fairy pig walk with Emilia the pig and it’s been a highlight of our trip so far. They only do one a day so you must arrange in advance- so worth it! We all loved it Grandma, Mom, dad and tween girl and teenage boy. Great for all ages!"
"Lovely little farm with a calming nature walk. Nice to learn about the biodiversity in the Burren area. Definitely a place to bring children to play. Lovely indoor play area and interesting outdoor play area as well. I thought there would be more animal interaction but it was still nice viewing the animals in their enclosures."
"Had a wonderful time at Burren Nature Sanctuary. Mary introduced us to some of the animals - goats, an alpaca, pigs - who we were able to feed. The fairy pig walk was lovely: we got to meet Emilia the pig and she and Mary guided us through the fairy woods where we learned some of the history of the land, took photos, and laughed while Emilia led the way through the forested area between snack breaks. Afterwards, we were able to explore the sanctuary on our own and enjoyed a really nice picnic that was prepared for us, including sandwiches, salad, fresh fruit, and cupcakes. Mary was sure to ask about dietary restrictions beforehand and so kindly prepared a vegetarian meal for us. I would absolutely recommend visiting. The sanctuary would be great for families, couples, and friends. We spent just under 2 hours, but you could easily spend an afternoon there. Washrooms were clean, everyone we met was friendly, the animals look well taken care of, and there are some nice things in the gift shop!"
