"We dined as group friends ..indoors as weather did not permit use of the amazing terrace sitting on the beautiful falls This was excellent dining experience ..every morsel was delicious , service was pleasant prompt and gracious . The ambience is particularly special and added to by a some quiet live music The starter of pork belly was cooked to perfection and likewise the aubergine starter Mains were totally memorable and served with good portions of perfectly cooked Mediterranean vegetables We shared a mouth watering tiramisu Do not miss this wonderful restaurant ..it is a total gem"

"Had a meal here in spring of 2016. It still stands out in my memory as one of the best places I visited in all of Ireland. The food was incredible, the staff was more than helpful and the view from our table, looking out over the river was surreal. The whole experience was wonderful. "Love going to Byrne's for a nice evening dinner. Every time we go we are greeted by great staff, a lovely dimly lit atmosphere and amazing food. We were there again yesterday evening for an early dinner. Again the staff are brilliant, the waitresses are excellent and were very attentive. Definitely recommend for a good and nicely priced multi course meal. My favourite dish would be the sirloin steak, which is what I had last night, and it was perfect. Beautiful array of colourful fried veg on the side and lovely pepper sauce. The mashed potatoes were lovely too, with chopped scallions mixed in. I couldn't get enough and it was a big plate. Amazing chef. They also do an amazing catch of the day. The menu is a bit limited, but the incredible food makes up for it. Plenty of space inside, and it's never too busy. The outside seating area is beautiful, right above the falls. I definitely recommend anybody to go here, it's great. I don't drink but my friends say the bar is also excellent."
