"Several years ago (can't date myself, suffice to say it was many) my to-be wife booked us in the this lovely estate. For our 13th anniversary I felt a trip down memory lane would do the trick. The staff at the Mount Juliet made our day. The champagne waiting for us in the room was a wonderful surprise. Great food, wonderful people, and beautiful surroundings. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!"

"We traveled around Ireland for 8 days and stayed in some fantastic places. This was hands down our best stay and I deeply wish we stayed here longer. The staff was just phenomenal. They were so kind and above and beyond. The grounds were magical. We had some beautiful strolls around the grounds and the river. Our room was too notch. If I am ever in Ireland again, I will make a stop in Kilkenny to stay here."

"My GF and I had an really great experience during our stay. We've been to a few good hotels around Ireland but Mount Juliet is the best on by far. From the beautiful grounds to stylish decor, this place is fantastic. Great swimming pool/sauna, well equipped gym and really comfy bed. Staff were always friendly and helpful and breakfast is all you need with everything fresh and tasty. We'd definitely recommend and hopefully we'll be back soon."

"This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was gorgeous, every meal was delicious, and the staff were the nicest people ever. Breakfast was always delicious, with an entree and an accompanying buffet, and dinner at Lady Helen was the perfect amount of food to feel fancy but not overly full. I can’t get over how wonderful the staff is. They remembered seemingly each guest, checked in on us, and made sure that we took advantage of every amenity. We had a server named Mary who went above and beyond for us time and time again, even flagging us down on her walk to her car to check how dinner went the night prior! We cannot wait to come back again! So glad this is part of Marriott now."

"Birthday afternoon tea with friends was lovely. Setting was outstanding and ambience was wonderful. Staff incredibly helpful and accomodating and came to check on us at various intervals for more teas and coffees etc. Unfortunately I wasn't all that impressed with the actual afternoon tea itself, we had the festive menu. It had the finesse but I just felt it lacked a fair bit of flavour in some of the sweets and cakes and didn't really leave me feeling like I had tasted something incredible, which I would have expected from such a fabulous venue. One of the party had a yeast and dairy intolerance, a difficult two to combine, especially for an afternoon tea and although they were able to offer a prawn wrap and fresh fruit, or something from the lunch menu, this was also a real shame that they could not cater for her needs (when she had commented that she had been to other places that served something for her needs.) A shame, but that didn't dampen our afternoon."
