Ballinalacken Castle Country House Hotel , County Clare

"The hotel is comfortable and quiet. 20 minutes drive to the cliffs. Views from the hotel are fairly nice. Breakfast is ok, but dinner is great. My main qualm with the hotel is the muddy and dark color schemes throughout making it feel cramped and unappealing. You need to turn on a light in the middle of the day to see in your room even though you have a giant bay window. Bathrooms are old, but functional. Service is friendly. I was comfortable, but not impressed with the exception of the dinner which was fantastic."

"Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had. The host and hostess were VERY accommodating and caregivers. Dinner Food was top, and breakfast was great as well. Quiet rooms with awesome views. Bathrooms were nice as well and clean. The castle on property is from 1300s, and great to walk thru. Excellent sunset views!"

"The hotel was so beautiful. While traveling in Ireland, my husband and I got married at the Cliffs and we stayed in the honeymoon suite here. The room was gorgeous. very classic, and comfortable. If you are looking for a romantic view and room while traveling to the beautiful town of Doolin, I would highly recommend staying here. The staff was so kind. The view was so beautiful. The restaurant was delicious. We will be back here someday."

"I stayed here in October 2021 for our wedding day/wedding Trip. Upon arrival they instantly recognized who I was and was so excited that we were able to finally make it (our elopement had been postponed once due to Covid). They helped us get set up in our room and gave us a mini tour of their hotel. Their sitting room and front room were absolutely perfect for a chilly night. They even put a little fire on for us. The day of the wedding they let us take pictures in front of their castle on property and were excited to see us off. It was a great trip and it was super amazing to have a hotel who was so helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you get the chance."

"We had our post-wedding dinner here, and the food and staff were wonderful, kind and accommodating. The food was spectacular, and the view from the area was fantastic! They even gave us a private tour of the castle on grounds, which was delightful bonus for us and our guests. I cannot recommend them enough!"
