"AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Wow! The individual who runs this place is not only unkind but has also shown himself to be somewhat of a yarn spinner and clearly delights in others struggles. Fact of the matter still remains - I’d rather give my hard-earned money to somebody else rather than this b&b…but what would I know as according to this individual , I’m not ‘normal’ and as he so kindly pointed out ‘I’m broke’ (who isn’t in this country in 2023) Readers please note - 1-We did attempt to cancel our booking as soon as our minds refocused which was the night before we were due to stay..bride and groom got the same short notice unfortunately. 2-The owner did not make ‘several attempts’ to contact us - simply not true and records will show as much. 3-My husband is indeed a lovely guy. (Owner of this b&b might learn something there) 4-Any old man that refers to you as “pet” should simply be avoided. Anyways to summise I hope said old man enjoys this review as much as the previous. Best wishes with the upcoming season “running your business”."
"Stunning views, beautiful property. The host Martin was nice. There are also nice pubs and restaurants nearby. It’s very near to cliffs of Moher, about 10mins drive."
"Martin didn’t have room for us, but he found us accommodation when we had car troubles, and even drove us down the pub and arranged food for us late in the evening. He was so helpful and hospitable."
"Clean rooms and a very accommodating host. The beds could be more comfortable though and a few more options for the continental breakfast would be suggested. It was the only hotel we stayed at that didn’t offer brown bread."
"Great location, 5 min drive to town and 10 mins to the Cliffs. The room was clean and a good size. Martin, the host gave excellent advice on where to eat and where to find live music. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Doolin."
