About the Business
Welcome to the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most beloved visitor experiences! Located in Lislorkan North, Co. Clare, Ireland, this establishment is not just a park or a point of interest, but a true tourist attraction that will leave you in awe.
As you arrive at the Cliffs of Moher, you will be greeted by the towering cliffs that overlook the rugged West Clare coast. These cliffs, which are entirely vertical and feature an abrupt cliff edge, offer a truly breathtaking sight. Walk along the safe, paved pathways as you take in the famous Cliffs on Europe's western frontier. From here, you will be treated to spectacular vistas over the vast Atlantic Ocean and the enchanting Aran Islands.
It comes as no surprise that the Cliffs of Moher Experience has been named the winner of 'Ireland's Best Visitor Attraction' in The Irish Independent's annual Reader Travel Awards for 2023. This prestigious recognition places the County Clare visitor attraction ahead of Ireland's most renowned tourist sites, as voted by Irish and international readers of The Irish Independent.
On a clear day, the views from the Cliffs of Moher are truly phenomenal. As you stand at the cliff edge, you can witness the tranquil beauty of the Aran Islands etched on the waters of Galway Bay. The sound of crashing waves and the distant booming below create a mesmerizing symphony, as the relentless force of the ocean gnaws at the soft shale and sandstone.
If you wish to witness an unforgettable sunset, the Cliffs of Moher is the perfect destination. With its due-west exposure, this is the best time to visit and witness the sky ablaze with hues of orange, pink, and purple, casting a magical glow over the cliffs and the vast expanse of the Atlantic.

"Best views of cliffs are found here. Dramatic scenery is everywhere. The visitor centre is well done and the explanation of the geology is interesting. Great gift shop! A must see."
"Still a great place, we drop by every time we visit the mid-west. The visitor centre has everything you'd need. Cafe, restaurant, exhibition, restrooms, souvenir shop and other craft shops near the main centre. Good to see that it is improving over time. Luckily we got a nice weather this time. =)"
"The views were glorious! I recommend wearing hiking shoes/boots if you plan to get a view of the other side by walking on the unpaved path, as it was muddy. It is a really beautiful place!"
"Absolutely beautiful. So, so windy and chilly even on May 22nd. Please make sure you bring a jacket and long pants - I wish I had a scarf and a hat even! Breathtaking and worth the visit. It was where I had to go in Ireland on my trip."
"I thought the cliffs were great! I've been twice. However, I have to add, if your child is fond of running off please keep hold of them as there are numerous cliff edges without fencing. Make sure to go when the weather is great, as it is on the coast."
