"I stayed there for several months and can testify of LOTS of problems: - Scammers. They charged €500+ out of the deposit with no reason and recourse. Workers were supposed to come within the first week but never came. - Very (very) noisy. The venue is ideal but apartments have absolutely no phonic isolation: street noise, night clubs and bars, and especially deliveries for the restaurant next to it. - Extremely bad WiFi (sometimes not working for 5 days) If you find somewhere else to stay in Galway do not come to Dominick Street Apartments. Very disappointed"
"Photos are not a true reflection of the apartment we got. Rooms stank, cigarette butts outside the door everywhere, inside felt dirty and furniture need a good clean. Could do with blackout curtians from all the street lights. Lots of stairs so beware if you have kids. Location was great. Very loud at night with a heap of pubs directly outside. I wouldn't stay there again."
"Ive stayed at two locations with four aces first one was Dominic street apartments and now west end apartments. Both are lovely accommodations very clean and warm. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I cane with a six year old one year old and 4 month old and honestly have no complaints. Kids loved it too. Very reasonable priced. Defiantly be back again soon!"
"Great location and quiet despite the bars below. But the apartment was not clean and there is no parking. You have to park somewhere on the street or in a nearby parkade. There were dirty towels left in the cupboard in the kitchen, walls and couches looked stained and dirty dishes left. The bed was clean though. If you are trying to save some money but dont want a hostel, I guess you could choose this place. I won't again."
"The apartment itself was well maintained, large, comfortable and stocked with a lot more than you get in most hotels. The boiler was not working properly, however, and we had no hot water - this was not fixed despite calling up and having someone sent over to look. It wasn't cleaned properly and the bath was slightly rusty. The price was very good, however, and check in and out was very easy. Brilliant location."
