"The hotel is perfectly located a few steps from the Spanish quarter but it’s quiet and away from the hubbub. The rooms are very small and tired but the bed was comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would not stay again due to size of room and bathroom."
"Absolutely loved our stay here! The rooms were nicely decorated & really comfortable. Breakfast was so plentiful and tasty, and the afternoon tea was divine. We mostly drank cocktails which were the nicest we had in Galway by far! But most of all, the staff were just fantastic. Every single employee we met was so friendly and helpful, really made the stay wonderful. Special mention to Lucia, so bubbly!"
"My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay at the House Hotel. We enjoyed our room, breakfast was enjoyable, and had great customer service experience. Great spot to be able to walk all around Galway without being too noisy around. Breakfast with the stay was great too and the dining service was always wonderful. As other reviews said, not the most modern, but if you're not planning to spend a ton of time in the hotel it is a great choice!"
"Passing through Galway, my friends and I had an amazing stay at The House Hotel. The manager was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and made sure that our stay was excellent. For three Americans doing the full tour of Ireland, Galway was the perfect pit stop, and our stay was fantastic. It is also in the perfect location. Definitely a great stay!"
"I asked for a quiet room and had the best sleep ever; it was so quiet I nearly missed breakfast. Service was excellent and location perfect for going to the Christmas market. The missing star is purely for the filter coffee at breakfast, it was far too insipid and I love a strong cup. I will definitely still be back though :-)"
