"I had a birthday dinner with the family and had a good experience overall. There was a hen so it was a tad livelier than usual especially since our table was very near the bar but overall it was fine. The decor and interior of the dining area where we were seated to was fantastic and elegantly subtle. During the busy evening, the waiting staff were all very courteous and friendly and made sure we were taken care of as best they could throughout our dinner. Although portions could be a tad more generous, the food was delicious and had great options for other dishes on their menu. My mom had mentioned to one of the waiting staff that it was my dad's birthday and surely enough the waiting staff came at our table with a birthday dessert at the end. We all thought it was very thoughtful and my dad was greeted with three other staff members at our table and sang happy birthday along with all the other customers dining in and some from the hen who all joined in too! Overall a great experience. Note that there's free parking for people that were staying/dining in which is located at the other entrance. This can be a little confusing as it wasn't as easily accessible and was a bit hidden."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room was very nice and clean and I really liked the pillows, they were super comfy. It was clean everywhere, actually. The staff was fantastic, everyone was friendly and polite. Dining in the attached restaurant was not only convenient but also quite lovely. The food was wonderful and the wait staff did a very nice job. A young man named Cyprian served us on more than one occasion and was outgoing, friendly and helpful with explaining some of the food and drinks. We enjoyed having a chat with him while we ate. The hotel is just a short walk from Eyre Square so you won't have to go far whilst carrying all of your shopping! I would give Harbour Hotel ten stars if I could. I will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Spent Christmas with my partner at the harbour . We arrived Christmas eve and got a lovely warm welcome at reception. Our room was beautiful and clean.Staff all over the hotel were so kind and helpful .We had a lovely meal Christmas eve . Breakfast was also very good . Christmas day dinner was delicious Amazing atmosphere even though we were a couple in our own it was like dining with a big family . We would like to thank all the staff for making our Christmas very special . Hope to see ye soon Tony and Rose room 206."

"Great hotel with beautiful views of Galway Harbour. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was clean, fresh and was very modern with a touch of tradition. The view of the harbour was spectacular. The breakfast was good with a nice selection to please everyone. Within walking distance of everything. I would definitely come back again."

"Lovely, clean hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel and the food was amazing. I only wish I could have tried more from their brunch menu. Hats off to the chef! The bar has a lovely relaxed atmosphere - pints and cocktails were top notch - and the hotel's location provides easy access to the beautiful streets of Galway City."
