"Saturday evening early bird menu for 8 adults, was excellent. 7 of us had steak and 1 had chicken. We regularly go away for weekends as a group, (4 x 50 yr+ siblings and partners) and we all agreed it was one of our best communal dinners in a long time. The steaks were tender and full of flavour and came with amble side dishes of chips, veg and sauces. The service was attentive without being imposing and the turnaround between courses was just perfect. We all left happy, full and singing its praises, vowing to return at the earliest opportunity. Top marks and well done. Absolutely, nothing to whinge about with this gem in the heart of Mullingar..."

"We visited for my son's 13th birthday, as he wanted to try a Steak on a Stone, and he was not disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the service and food were equally fab. I had the bruschetta which was very fresh and tasty. The boys all had the chicken wings, they report the sauce and wings were amazing and moreish. The bigger boys (husband and eldest) had T-Bones which were a decent size and cooked well, having ordered a rare and a medium they were both happy campers. I had the Lasagne which is my go to anywhere and it was gorgeous. My son had Chocolate Fudge cake for dessert which the staff kindly popped a candle in and dressed beautifully and they even sang Happy Birthday for him, much to his teenage embarrassment (he loved it really). We had a lovely meal in lovely surroundings and will definitely be going back. Price was very good too."
