Café Continental

"Absolutely horrendous myself and 4 sisters went there sat 6th May. Found hair in mine and my sisters meal. We were visiting family and they had recommended it. But now they will never darken the place again. Waiting staff were fantastic but the manager was so unprofessional she stunned me with her attitude towards our complaints. We got the bill cleared but there was no way we wer going to eatvthe restbof of meal or anything else after finding hair in 2 meals out of 5!!!!!"

"I have been here on many occasions and the food has been lovely however today was a totally different experience. Myself and my friend went for some lunch with our two babies. First of all there isn’t enough space for people to walk around never mind have two buggies at a table as they are so close together. I would hate to see somebody manage getting in and out of this place in a wheelchair. I ordered the brunch panini which was literally slapped together not a bit of butter on it so in turn was falling apart before I picked it up to eat it. I ordered chips with it and these were forgotten and when I asked a little jar with very few chips arrived out. The staff were quite rude, the lady on the counter did not even speak just put the amount onto the card machine and held it out for me to tap my card. Overall a very poor experience and I will never return again. This place isn’t a patch on Dora mays cafe which has a gorgeous menu, lovely staff and plenty of space."

"Lovely and very poplar spot I only had tea and a bun but plently of people were going for the breakfasts.Pity its space is limited and with 2 access doors it can get very drafty on a cold day.Staff were lovely and we were well looked after.Would call again ,maybe on a nice warm day."

"A great place for families. So many delicious menu options with decadent fresh cakes and pastries. They have many creative drink options with their flavoured milks being my favorite. Not too expensive either. Can get extremely busy however especially during lunch hours."
