"The stew was delicious, but the fish was over cooked and the chicken curry left a lot to be desired. However, the man with the guitar and the mouth organs made up for every shortcoming. We sang along all night and he was still going when we left. To our great amusement, we were the only Irish diners on the night. There were two parties from East Berlin, a family from Missouri, a chap from Australia. I don't remember where the others came from. But they all, along with us, thoroughly enjoyed the music."
"Wonderful local pub with good food, drink, and friendly people. Was very happy with the beef stew and sticky toffee pudding (delicious!). Best pour of Guinness since I've been to Ireland. Thank you Bridget!"
"Okay. Small portions for the price. Food was quick to come out but service afterwards was slow but there was only one girl working the whole restaurant so fair play to her. Asked for bill, didn't get it, waited 10 mins at counter to pay."
"The atmosphere was a bit blase, but it was clean and efficiently run. The garlic mushrooms and the brie were delicious. Vegetable soup, brown bread, beef stew, curry chicken and rice were also quite good. I enjoyed my chicken and chicken vol-au-vent and the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely devoured (pictured). The portions are very generous and we were grateful to be able to order half portions when possible. A children's menu is also available."
