Reviews
"If you want a restaurant with bags of character in a great location that serves great food, you cannot do much better than O’Grady’s. Tables are quite tightly squeezed in, which makes for an intimate affair, so wouldn’t be wheelchair friendly."
"Excellent food. Beautiful setting. Friendly personnel. Very good seafood. Dishes have highs and lows: monkfish great. Seabass with fried chorizo slices… not a good idea. Oysters very good. Will try to return. Pricey, hence the 4 stars! Among the most expensive in these parts."
"We called for a reservation a few days before our visit, and on arrival they told us, they could find the reservation. They were kind enough to accommodate us, in a lovely table. The food was great and the staff really pleasant! The only bad thing is that we leave away from the area and we will not be able to visit anytime soon! Thank you so much for the wonderful evening!!"
"Well-established restaurant with a worthy reputation for excellent seafood. Had the trout and potato salad for starter, and it was delicious. The cold seafood platter for mains won’t disappoint; a great selection of seafood and plenty of it. Service is great, atmosphere is buzzy and there are great views out over Galway Bay. Reservations are required, especially during the height of the tourist season."
"Celebrated a wedding dinner in 2009 and have back every few years since then. A gem, the staff are excellent, spot-on customer service and the food is one of, if not the best in Galway . For special occasions this is a very worthwhile experience. Thanks again to the staff."
