"Perfect from start to finish. Every course was delicious and the service was great. As a celiac, I can‘t remember the last time I felt looked after that well. Can‘t wait to return."
"Delicious from start to finish, I’d imagine a Michelin star is on the cards in the near future."
"Magnificent"
"f the meal had cost 50-60 euros versus 80 plus incredibly marked-up wine plus a private room fee that came with poor service, I would have been pleased. Instead, like the sister restaurant, Mike Ryan's, the Bishop's Buttery adds a ridiculous mark-up for window dressing. We rented a private room for a special birthday. To get to the room we were led past the other private room which had its door open and was being used to polish silver and fold knives. Our room was across from the serving window. We felt like we had been led to the back of the kitchen and were going to be asked to do dishes. The room was painted like a trippy circus tent - a bizarre setting for high dining. The one small window in the room was adjacent to outside storage where staff regularly walked by to collect and dispose of things. Not worth the 200 euro mark-up. The waitress came to take our order before we were provided the wine list and we had to ask for that and tell her to come back for our orders. The sommelier never showed up before we ordered our wine which was fine because I doubt he would have been any help. We lucked upon a not too exorbitantly priced French red. California reds which we were familiar with were marked up by 150% and more. Some of the dishes were great. Some were mediocre at best. They were brought in by a rotating staff with varying knowledge about the food. When I tried to leave my credit card with the host he told me to come back at the end of our meal which made my ability to pay for the meal without out guests knowing what I was doing very difficult. Overall it was very poor execution for the price and hype this restaurant has about it. Sure go if you want to blow some cash but I doubt you will be back."
