About the Business
Welcome to John J. Feehan, an institution located in the heart of Cashel on Main Street, Ireland. Our establishment is unlike any other - we offer a combination of a restaurant, a point of interest and a historical monument all rolled into one.
The history of John J. Feehan began in the early 1900s when the building was used as a grocery store and delicatessen for over 70 years. It was then converted to a restaurant in the late 1970s, which has been serving delicious food to locals and visitors alike ever since.
Our restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a focus on locally sourced, fresh ingredients. Our menu features traditional Irish dishes with a modern twist, created by our experienced chefs. Our drinks menu features an extensive wine list, as well as a range of craft beers and spirits.
In addition to our restaurant, John J. Feehan is also a point of interest and historical monument. The building's unique architecture reflects its colourful past, and it is also rumoured to have a haunted history. Visitors can soak up the atmosphere and admire the building's original features while enjoying their meal.
Whether you're visiting Cashel for the first time or you're a local looking for a unique dining experience, John J. Feehan is the place to be. We look forward to welcoming you.

"The staff were very friendly and attentive. I got my order quickly. The food was good."
"Best pub lunch we ever had! I had the pulled pork blaa, my hubby had the chicken deluxe toasted sandwich. I loved all the flavours in the pork, perfect onion rings and crunchy fries. Serving gravy with a toasted sandwich was a gamechanger and the hubby called it the best toasted sandwich he ever had jn Ireland. And very reasonable prices too!"
"What a great pub not too far from the rock of casual from the rock of castle this has been a family owned business for nearly 100 years the food was fantastic the service was wonderful but the biggest thing that I enjoyed was the honeymustard lol it's crazy but it was extremely unique and they told me that they had a secret recipe and they made it fresh every day it was fantastic service was wonderful the price is fair absolutely recommend for all domestic and International travelers"
"Lovely chicken salad, very nice mushroom soup! The place looked great as well and the location was nice. They took a bit long to take our order, but after they did, they were swift and nice. The menu had a lot of interesting dishes. I would totally recommend it to have lunch or dinner at Cashel."
