"Had an amazing stay in the Bunk a couple of weeks ago. Made our booking through Rory and he was so helpful and accommodating and had a lot of recommendations for where to go for food and drink etc. the room itself was so lovely overlooking shop street. Will 100% be back to stay here would highly reccomend"
"Our room was a good size for the two nights we stayed at Bunk hostel. We used the WIFI, shower, TV, kettle and communal kitchen which was all clean and working properly. We travelled by bus around Ireland so the location was amazing as it's central and directly across from the bus station and it's near a lidl too! I will definitely recommend the hostel to friends and family and would stay again if I return on another trip. The staff members at reception and housekeeping were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Handy vending machine in the living area too. All 10/10 Disliked · No big issues but somethings to bare in mind when using the hostel. the entrance is down a alley way/drive way so I imagine during the busier months the roads would be busier and harder to manoeuvre. The living area is lovely but might be tricky when it's busy as it's quite small compared to how many rooms there seemed to be available."
"Lived in Galway for 8 years and never knew this place was here. Back visiting friends. Stephen on reception 10/10 walked in the door and the smile was from ear to ear. Super friendly and every time you pass reception he speaks with you. The business is lucky to have him. Rooms amazing I have a private one. So we'll we'l and super clean. City center and close to everything. Well done ."
"This place was surprisingly good for a hostel. Room was clean and tidy. Could have done with a shelf or two in the bathroom but other than that it was great. The kitchen was so useful too and was perfectly clean. I'd definitely want the kitchen towels changed more often though as they smelled pretty bad."
"For the price and location, this worked really well. Good walking distance from the city center. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. There was a coupon for €3 off 24 hour parking nearby which was very helpful... but it didn't work. Rooms are very basic as you'd expect for a hostel. Free toast and cereal for breakfast a nice touch. Floors in room were sticky. If you like hostels you'll like this place, does exactly what it says on the tin."
