"Large hostel located in central Killarney. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, however could do with a couple more plugs nearer to the beds. Rooms are cleaned daily and bathrooms are kept clean. Staff were welcoming and accommodating, and reception is open late. Would recommend as a budget friendly stay."
"100% recommended, the staff is very nice and kind and always ready to help and advice you things to do over the place. The rooms are very clean and modern. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The kitchen was very good and plenty of things were in there for free. The free breakfast has enaugh things. Also, if you want to do your loundry they will clean and dry your clothes for 10€"
"Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are wonderful and the rooms were spotless, if a little cold overnight when the radiators turn off. The shower takes a while to warm up and I'd say be careful where you direct the jets so as to keep the floor dry! Although they can't resume breakfast service yet, they provided filter coffee on our first day and have tea and coffee making facilities. There's a lovely common area with comfy chairs and sofas, and an electric fireplace and sofa near the check-in desk. Special thanks to David for a lovely chat when I didn't join the rest of my group in going out one evening! Also it was lovely to meet Lexi the dog who was very well behaved and friendly. A huge thanks to the whole team for accommodating us and providing such a lovely spot so central — this is across the road from some nice pubs and a nice cafe/restaurant."
"The security staff at night time was exceptionally rude to my girlfriend and I, aggressively demanding to see our passes. The hostel was extremely noisy all night, people running around like crazy and banging on our door. This happened from 3am - 7am so we literally got no sleep. When we mentioned to the staff the next day, they simply replied "we'll look after you next time you come to Kilarney..". 70 euro to stay in a room that we couldn't sleep in, very poor and disappointing."
"Clean room and nice looking for a great price BUT the check in is not at 12 as advertised but 3pm, there is no free parking (the nearby church with free parking does not allow overnight) and we had some issues with the shower (the glass screen is not wide enough and you risk flooding the bathroom). There was also a bunch of guys partying until 2am very loudly and reception was aware because they had to bring them pizza they had ordered but they didn’t do anything to get them to stop and be respectful of others. Just FYI, we had a private room with bathroom so we expected silence at night since we were not in the area with shared rooms where students and young people go."
