"Very good situated location. Good and delicious dinner in their pub. The breakfast is basic with only bread and cereals"
"Fantastic location close to all the major climbs in the macgillycuddy reeks. welcoming helpful people who run the place. Rooms are functional and warm. Great shower pressure. On our visit our room was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Decent food in the bar and they serve a good pint. Locals in the bar very friendly. One of the ways into Kerry way signposted right next to the inn. Good car parking. Value for money."
"We loved the hotel, it's location and cleaniness. We stayed there Good Friday and Easter Saturday and paid for bed and breakfast for two adults and one child. Unfortunately it turned out that the cooked Irish breakfast, which they served us with, wasn't included. We need to pay separately for it.... We weren't aware of that, which is not right. The continental breakfast didn't have boiled eggs, cheese, ham, pastries and yogurt on the first morning. On the second one there was only a few boiled eggs and some cheese stripes. Please at least upon booking, give more information to the guests what they're paying for and especially that the cooked breakfast will be payable. Apart from that the hotel is brilliant"
"Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Stayed here two nights ago. Hiking The Kerry Way from The Black Valley to Glencar, the travellers inn was a welcome relief. Stayed in dorm (the only reason I gave the three stars, I am not sure any dorm would get 5 stars unless you had the room to yourself). The staff were all so friendly , the food was good after a big day hiking , a pub on site (added bonus). The ladies working the kitchen the following morning again fab. A really delightful Spanish Manager running the pub. Well done guys, you are doing a smashing job."
