"They cancelled my reservation one day before the date without any explanation. They probably re-sold the room at a higher price and made the refund to me. They don't take care of customers, be aware of that before doing a reservation because you can pay much higher at other places, if you need to book something a day before a travel."
"A small hotel located a 15min walk outside of the town, with an open parking area, and no particular facilities for motorbikes. We were given a very friendly welcome and the staff were very helpful, especially with suggestions on where to eat. Our room was of an adequate size with a balcony. Our double room was clean and nicely decorated, with a modern bathroom, containing a bath and shower. Tea and coffee was provided, as was bottled water. The wifi was free with no sign up and there was a good wifi signal, capable of supporting streaming, VoIP calls etc. There are plenty of sockets, a small TV and hairdryer. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of cooked and cold. As there was no fan, the bathroom smelt a little musky."
"Absolutely horrific. Rooms were dated, and improperly cleaned. Our bathrooms had mold in every corner (I wish I could attach the photos, absolutely disgusting), the ceilings were cracked. Bedding was dirty, our towel rack was broken, and the shower door was broken. We booked our room 4 months in advance, when we showed up we were told they could not find our reservation (a family room), to make things easy, we said we would take 2 singles. An hour later they “found” our original reservation, and REFUSED to refund the 2 singles. After haggling and pleading with the extremely rude owner he “compromised” and refunded one of the rooms. NO ONE SLEPT IN THESE ROOMS, PAYING FOR ANY OF THEM WAS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. There are no lifts, which we should have been notified of, as we had several elderly people in our party. So we hauled our luggage around the entire hotel twice (because they found our original room was on the second floor, but we had already moved luggage to the third) no offer for help from the staff. Staff was inconceivably rude (including ownership), and after all was “settled” the owner made a “f-ing Americans” comment to another guest. Yes “f-ing Americans” not wanting to pay for 2 empty rooms??? Mind you we were with a party of 25 who booked at least 10 rooms, you would think there would be some kind of appreciation or accommodation. Do not stay here. ALSO, before the owner makes his typical response. The reservation was in a family members name, I absolutely did stay at this awful inn."
"Stayed for a couple of nights on a 10 day tour on our motorbikes. Rooms, service and breakfast all first class. Would very much recommend for anyone walking, biking or playing one of the many golf courses nearby. Many thanks for your kind hospitality"
"Great hotel. Friendly staff, comfy room, excellent breakfast and only a 10 minute stroll from the centre. Only issue was we had travelled for a wedding and needed to iron our clothes. There was no ironing board and we were told to iron on the wooden side table, which seemed odd and was very awkward to do. A small cost would be a big plus for this hotel."
