"Well!! What can I say? In all my years of staying in guest houses I have never felt so comfortable and welcome as I have here. Such a great and friendly experience. Sad to be leaving but I will certainly be back. A fantastic couple and couldn’t ask for more. Room is cleaned to a 10 every day. They go above and beyond to help and make sure you feel at home. "My husband and his work colleagues stayed at the Vaila Guesthouse for a period of time between 6-9 months, as they were working in Aberdeen during that time period. They had tried a couple other guest houses prior to settling for the Vaila Guesthouse. The reason they chose to stay there for such a long period of time is due to the hospitality they received from Mike and Kim. They could not have been any nicer to my husband and his colleagues. They were well looked after, the rooms were warm cosey and cleaned to a very high standard. There was times when they had an early start and rather than having mike and kim wake earlier than their routine they opted out of breakfast, only to wake up surprised the next morning to find a pack lunch outside there bedrooms. Mike and kim went above and beyond with regards to their hospitality. My husband and his colleagues said that they all made new friends in Mike and Kim."
