"Stayed for 3 nights in March. Lovely room on the ground floor. Very convenient for walking to the Art Gallery. Found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. Liked the shower stall. Water pressure good. For an expat Brit, so nice to see an electric kettle in the room instead of a coffee maker like in US hotels - I missed that :) Would definitely stay here again."
"I usually wait until checkout to review but I've been so pleased halfway through my stay I had to update. Possibly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The room is so clean and cozy with high ceilings I wasn't expecting at a hotel! My bathroom is phenomenal and has a standing tub as well as a shower. I'm normally a bit nervous to use a tub in a hotel, but this one was spotless and I thoroughly enjoyed the indulgence! I treated myself to both a massage at their spa (which was exceptional!!!) and room service from their restaurant (the pretzel burger was delicious!!!) I would honestly come back to Aberdeen just to stay at this hotel. Has definitely taken the #1 spot in my travels so far!"
"I would have liked a cafetiere & extra wine glasses in the mini kitchen. Also, a small table lamp beside mirrored desk to see properly when putting on make-up. The house-keeping staff were tremendous and reception staff extremely helpful. Some guests were exceptionally noisy! I enjoyed my stay. Thanks."
"We had 2 nights in this hotel whilst in Aberdeen for our Son's graduation. Hotel was easy to find from the multi story car park at Bon Accord and just a few minutes walk. Reception staff were nice and check-in was quick. The room was quite small but nicely furnished and had a nice bathroom with a great shower and a nice exposed brick feature wall. The TV was a pain to get up and running, possibly Internet connection issues as there was no TV guide and the 'easy connect' phone option refused to work. When I tried again the next day the TV guide worked and we managed to get the channels to show. I didn't try to connect my phone again. The soap dispensers in the bathroom/shower are mounted on a bracket that prevents the soap from being dispensed. I unscrewed the lid and took it off the bracket so we could use it properly. The view from the window was a horrible 70s building across the road but we weren't there for the view from the hotel. The bed was nice and high and very comfy, we slept very soundly for our 2 nights although I had to cover the air-con control panel as it was so bright it looked like a plane coming in to land. Breakfast was really good with a very tasty full English and a wide selection of fruit, cereals, croissants, juices etc. The bar appeared to be closed both nights, which was disappointing as we love a good hotel bar. We would stay here again though."
"Nice hotel and great value for money when compared to hotels of a similar nature elsewhere in Scotland. Only a ten minute walk to Union Street. Missing out on the 5 stars because I feel like the service could have been a bit better both at check in/out and breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms definitely left a lot to be desired. Apart from that though, it was good."
